Body image is not about the way you look but the way you feel about who you are. Although media puts a strong emphasis on the way we are 'supposed to look', it is important to know that the way you feel about yourself is most valuable to a healthy mind and positive body image.

Self esteem is a state of mind. It is the way you feel about yourself and others, and is noticed by the way you behave and act. It is the way you feel about yourself, your 'internal belief system' and the way you see yourself in the sense of your worth as a person.
